We’re delighted to announce that we’re strengthening our leadership team, expanding our operations and building an even more sustainable business. Meet our new People Operations and Client Service Director, Cathy Knight.
A well-known resourcing specialist within the marketing sector who has already built a successful recruitment company, Cathy has joined Bodhi to help us accelerate our strategic goals and sustainability ambitions. As the company’s first female director, her appointment also underlines our commitment to encouraging a more diverse workforce.
Supporting the creative sector
Cathy’s knowledge, contacts and experience will enable us to expand our CRM and digital marketing data expertise into wider marketing and creative roles, and to play an even bigger role in developing a highly-competitive, growing sector.
Says Cathy, “I’m delighted to be joining the leadership team at Bodhi at such an exciting time. I’m looking forward to drawing on all my experience so that we can offer much deeper support in the marketing and creative industry. I’ve worked with the directors, Zane and John, in previous roles and know that we share the same values, ethos and outlook.”
Our B-Corp goals
As well as heading-up our new marketing division, Cathy will be lead us in our ambition to become B-Corp Certified next year. “This is a priority for us and, having navigated the B-Corp Certification process for my previous business, Isme People, I know that this is within our grasp. At Bodhi, we prioritise both people and purpose and it’s important that we embody and demonstrate this in everything we do.
“As a business, we’ll be looking to work closely with other B-Corps and will be actively looking to creating relationships with clients that are aligned with our views,” Cathy explains.
A positive future
2024 is set to be a critical year for Bodhi Resourcing, building on a period of sustained growth and continued success with an ever-expanding client base. Says director John Howells: “We’re proud that our clients and contacts recognise that we like to do things a little differently here at Bodhi.
“Our success is built on our sustainable and mindful approach – it’s no coincidence that we’re named after the Buddhist word for enlightenment. Cathy joining us will enable us to deliver on all our commitments and to build an even better business – for everyone.”
A marketing graduate herself, Cathy brings with her a wealth of experience and understanding and is looking forward to applying her skills to her new role. She will also be bringing many of her previous clients into the Bodhi business.
This on-the-ground expertise within the creative sector is indicative of our ‘deep dive’ approach to finding the right candidates for our clients.
People and purpose
“Importantly,” adds Cathy, “it’s also very much about finding the right clients for our candidates. Placing people into companies where they’ll be looked after and introducing them to cultures where they can thrive. That’s the secret to success.”
